The main aim of the project is integration of local community. This need was diagnosed there. Radwanice, which are nearby Wrocław, have quite diverse inhabitants. On one hand, families for many generations has been living there, on the other – young marriages who work in Wrocław are moving in. The last ones, they don’t spend much time in Radwanice and don’t identify with the place. Both those groups don’t know each other, don’t have many opportunities to spend time together. House of Peace Foundation, together with Gminne Centrum Kulturalne w Św. Katarzynie, wanted to  the idea for integrating community was to organize photography and ceramic workshops for 40 inhabitants. The area of creative work was supposed to be beneficial for getting to know each other and spending time together. The results are already visible – great ceramic and photography works are created and participants are becoming more familliar. 

 

Extra opportunity for an integration was created by study visit in Nadolice Wielkie. There is heritage park of Goliniwscy family, in which many interesting items are, to begin with plates from Third Reich, traditional, embroidered clothes from Middle and East Europe, to old rural tools. They represent various eras, places and fields of life, creating together inspiring collection. Heritage park came into existence thanks to commitedness and passion of all family, which still continue their mission. Our groups had an opportunity to see exhibits, photography group – take some pictures, ceramic – to learn about traditional crockery. Visit was finished with frying sausages on the fire with the guitar accompaniment thanks to friends of Golinowscy family. It seems that integration during study visit went fine. On the next photography workshops some home baking appeared as a snack for all participants.  

   For the end of project exhibition take place, on which works from workshops will be presented – photography and ceramic. It will be opportunity  to invite to cooperation other inhabitants and to praise works. We hope it will be a nice way to finish project “Artistic Factory”.
